UBP Nicosia District President Ahmet Savaşan held his first event after taking office with the theme of “Let's Stand Up to Cancer” in cooperation with the Cancer Patients Aid Association.
During the walk organized by the Women's Branches of the UBP Nicosia District Presidency in cooperation with the Cancer Patients“ Aid Association and with the participation of Prime Minister Ünal Üstel's wife Zerrin Üstel, women were given a brochure on the Self-Check application that teaches them how to perform breast checks at home with the right methods. The Nicosia march, which was supported by the Women's Branches of other District Presidencies as well as Nicosia, created a meaningful awareness on the importance of early diagnosis in breast cancer.
